Citizen Slab is a typeface that pays homage to a vintage aesthetic without losing its modern sensibility. Inspired by a recent trip to Boston, which stirred up a strong feeling of patriotism, I wanted to create a typeface that honoured the days gone-by but was still relevant in todays design world.
